The modesty/shyness of the mother of the believers ‘Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) by Shaykh Abdur-Razzaaq al-Badr

The modesty/shyness of the mother of the believers ‘Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her)

From the wonderful glimpses of modesty is the modesty of the mother of the believers ‘Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her). In the musnad (recorded in the musnad of imam Ahmad) that she said:

“I used to enter my home in which the messenger of Allah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) and my father (Abu Bakr) were buried and I would remove my garment and I say this is only my husband and my father, but when Umar was buried along with them, by Allah I would not enter except that I would fasten my garment upon myself out of modesty from Umar.”
